How did you become a financial advisor?

After graduating from college in 2006, I entered the financial industry. I began my career at one of the nation's largest independent broker dealers and later gained experience at Schwab.  I quickly knew this was not the way I wanted to deliver investment services as I loved being able to partner with my clients to help accomplish their financial and personal life goals while building lasting relationships.

What types of clients do you work with?

I specialize in investment management and financial planning customized for physicians. With my wife being a physician, I understand the challenges physicians face in protecting their assets, navigating insurance complexities, all while planning for your future. I'm here to assist you in achieving your financial objectives - whether you manage your practice or work in a hospital.

I also provide valuable support to business owners by assisting them with comprehensive financial planning services, including guidance on employer-sponsored retirement plans. With Austin being a tech hub, I provide assistance to tech professionals with their financial planning and investment management.

While this is not a unique approach, I do think it is something that sets me apart. I spend a lot of time listening to my clients' concerns, past experiences and goals and crafting a solution that is completely unique to their preferences, and aspirations. Many times advisors want to talk about themselves and their solutions but completely forget to listen to what their clients are saying. I feel this leads to better and more accurate planning that creates a much higher degree of client satisfaction. 

What is your favorite part about working with clients? 

By far my favorite part of working with client’s is being able to be a part of the client's realization of their financial and personal goals and aspirations. It is an honor to be trusted to provide guidance and advice on something that is so meaningful to my clients. I deeply value the long term relationships that I have formed with my clients and view them as an extension of my family.
