How did you become a financial advisor?

During my college years, I worked in a customer service and management role, where I enjoyed working with people, navigating challenging situations, and problem-solving. During this time I also had a college roommate who was an economics major and they were glued to CNBC which sparked my interests in the markets. Through a family connection, I was introduced to a Schwab advisor and found similarities between my job and the advisor's role intriguing. This realization led me to pursue a career in advising. I started at Schwab in 2010 and worked my way up to an advisory position at a brand office by 2013. After more than a decade serving as an advisor, I wake up daily to look at the markets and stay involved with the trends to offer the up to date advice to my clients.

When I joined Savvy, I began a collaborative venture with my close friend, Michaela Sullivan, who is now my partner as we join forces to assist clients. While I continue to support my individual clients, I look forward to working with Michaela on future clients and supporting each other as we grow our business. I love working with the markets and Michaela is focused on financial planning and combined we want to help our clients achieve their goals.

Working with Savvy

Coming from a firm that had a lot of slow processes and archaic technology, I love how efficient and tech forward things are at Savvy. It’s great that Savvy really listens to advisor feedback and implements solutions to allow us to spend more time focusing on our clients.
