How did you become a financial advisor?

I began my career in public accounting, where I built a strong foundation of experience in tax planning and preparation. During this time, I worked closely with businesses and their owners to help navigate complex tax regulations and identify strategies to minimize their tax liability. This experience allowed me to seamlessly transition to financial planning, where nearly all financial decisions are influenced by tax considerations. I take a holistic approach to my clients’ finances, considering both their immediate needs and long-term goals. What I love most about financial planning is the opportunity to develop close, meaningful relationships with my clients. I enjoy guiding them through life’s financial challenges and helping them proactively plan for a secure and successful future. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients achieve their goals and feel confident about their finances.

I am a CPA with over twenty-four years of tax experience, specializing in helping clients navigate the complexities of tax planning. I provide tailored strategies to ensure my clients receive well-rounded financial advice that integrates tax considerations, ultimately endeavoring to help them achieve their financial goals with confidence.

My experience as a CPA has prepared me with expertise in developing tax-efficient investment strategies to help minimize my clients' tax liabilities. I also specialize in optimizing charitable giving to enhance the impact of your donations and maximizing the benefits of retirement savings vehicles like IRAs and 401(k)s to help ensure a secure financial future.

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart? 

I provide detailed tax projections and build a model of different financial planning strategies to help my clients. This ensures they understand their tax obligations and avoid unexpected surprises when filing their returns. We can also select the right strategy for them based on their tax liability and goals.  Additionally, I review their returns before submission to ensure that all planned strategies have been accurately implemented and properly captured.
