How did you become a financial advisor?

After graduating from college, I worked at an office furniture company and learned a lot about how a small business runs, spanning sales, customer service, purchasing, and employee management. I longed to begin a career where I could own and run my own business. I had always been interested in the investment industry, and after researching various career paths, I became an advisor in 1997.

What types of clients do you work with?

I primarily work with small business owners, professionals, families, and pre-retirees.

What areas of expertise do you have? 

I specialize in financial planning, retirement income planning, and business succession planning. 

What types of strategies do you usually help clients with? 

I prioritize diversification for my clients across their portfolio, income streams and beyond. 

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart?  

Being a retired army officer and a Christian, I pride myself on my caring attitude, consistent service, and clear communication with clients. I make sure to stay in really good communication with clients, especially those going through major transitions. Ultimately, I’m helping them through the tough times as well as the good times. 

What is your favorite part about working with clients?  

More than anything, I enjoy being able to help them. It means a lot that I can give them direction and peace of mind to know that they’re working with someone that’s looking out for them.
