How did you become a financial advisor?

After working with my own financial advisor, I realized I loved the idea of being able to help others achieve their financial goals. In 2006, I accepted a job with AXA Advisors working in the insurance industry and then later on in banking at Huntington Bank and JP Morgan. My financial advisor career now spans almost 20 years. 

What types of clients do you work with?

I work with clients who want help managing their retirement assets. I tend to work with a lot of retired college professors.

What areas of expertise do you have?

My primary areas of expertise are in retirement planning and tax saving strategies. 

What types of strategies do you usually help clients with?

I help clients manage their retirement assets while targeting efficient tax strategies to avoid unnecessary taxes, where possible.  I also help clients generate income while in retirement.

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart?

More than anything, I believe my nearly two decades in the industry and having historical visibility into so much change in the markets over the years sets me apart. I’ve navigated my way through about three bear markets, which included supporting clients and their financial needs accordingly.
